Associate Campus Pastor
The Chapel is looking for a strong partner for the Campus Pastor at our Libertyville campus in the role of Associate Campus Pastor. The Associate Campus Pastor’s primary responsibility is developing community venues, connecting newcomers, and providing pastoral care for the campus. Minimally, this person must be a strong fit for this position with respect to their character, competence, connection, culture and commitment as defined by The Chapel. The Associate Campus Pastor must exhibit the “Four Things We Are”: Authentic, Loving, Joyful, and Inspirational. We need a people magnet with great communication and administration skills, who has successfully developed others, and whose education and/or the equivalent experience aligns with the role.
Associate Pastor Job Description
Facility Manager
The Chapel is seeking a Facility Manager to be responsible for the building structure, campus grounds, utility systems, life safety systems, and equipment assets at one of our campuses. This person will lead in a “hands on” manner in order to provide a safe, inviting, friendly, and warm atmosphere for all visitors to our facility while supporting the church staff in their ministry activities. This position would require a flexible schedule (mainly early evenings and weekends, with some ministry holidays) with Mondays off. Minimum of Associates Degree in Engineering, Maintenance, or the equivalent of 3-5 years of prior experience in related areas. Understands and adheres to current industry, OSHA and The Chapel quality and control policies. Strong administration skills, a proven work ethic and leadership are an asset to the position. A good driving record and ability to lift and manipulate 50 lbs repeatedly during a normal shift is required.
Campus Pastor
We are seeking Campus Pastors for new campus launches. Campus Pastors are primarily responsible for the spiritual and organizational leadership of a single Chapel campus in concert with the overall direction of The Chapel and are responsible for the campuses’ growth, health and alignment to our DNA. They host the weekend experience, lead the staff, and shepherd the congregation. Candidates must be a strong fit with respect to character, commitment, culture, connection and competence. We are looking for joyful, authentic, loving and inspiring people with the following attributes:
