Scott Chapman
Senior Pastor
Scott Chapman’s passion is the local church. Scott fervently believes that when God looks down from heaven, he doesn’t see many churches, but one Church gathering in many locations. He prays that the many members of the one Church will partner together to see a widespread spiritual awakening. Toward that end, Scott has been instrumental in developing Catalyst. This group of more than 50 area churches is working together to restore the reputation of Jesus Christ in their culture.
Born and raised in Alliance, Ohio, Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is working toward his doctorate in ministry. Scott and his wife, Tammy, live in Round Lake, Ill., with their three children, who all cheer for the Buckeyes.

Jeff Griffin
Senior Pastor
As senior pastor, Jeff is responsible for preaching, planning sermon series, and shepherding staff members — all responsibilities that fit his passions and gifts. He also serves on the elder board and the Weekend Experience planning team.
Jeff was raised in a strong Christian family in Arlington Heights, Ill. While he was completing his pre-med degree at Wheaton College, he felt God calling him into full-time ministry. Instead of medical school, he enrolled at Trinity International University after graduating from Wheaton. In 1992 Jeff married his high school sweetheart, Jennifer. They have three children: Jorah, Janai, and Jake, two of whom are adopted. Jeff enjoys woodworking, skiing, and collecting old Christian books, but his true passions are his family and helping people fall in love with God.
