Are you ready to step up to the frontline? Everywhere we go we’re surrounded by the battle of good and evil. There is a continual war for souls taking place all around us. This isn’t a new war, but one that has existed from the beginning of time. In what is known as the Great Commission, Jesus calls us to the frontline. He calls us to go out to all nations, to teach and train them in godly ways (Matthew 28:18-20).

We will be splitting camp and varying the schedules for Zone camp and Edge camp so each group will feel like they have their own camp. This year’s junior high and high school summer camp at Silver Birch Ranch in White Lake, Wisconsin will be July 20-25. Register at chapel.org/register before May 31 for best pricing.

Transportation
Buses will leave the Grayslake campus at 9 a.m. on July 20 with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. Buses will also be picking up students from the west and south campuses at Lake Zurich and Hinsdale. Bus/vans will be departing from those two campuses at 8 a.m. to reach Grayslake for the 9 a.m. group bus departure.

We will arrive home to the Grayslake campus at 6 p.m. on July 25. The Lake Zurich and Hinsdale bus/vans will arrive back at their campuses at 7:30 p.m.

Libertyville Campus Baptism Informational Meeting: This weekend, May 19-20, there will be a short 20-minute meeting immediately following all weekend services for those considering being baptized. We will be providing the details of being baptized and meet in the second floor lobby.

2012 Chapel Golf Outing set for Friday, June 15: Register now to play in this annual golf event at Foss Park Golf Course in North Chicago. The cost is $100 per player, and the proceeds will benefit Passion Outreach which offers mentoring to at-risk teens in North Chicago. Both men and women are invited to play. Lunch will be at noon with shot gun start at 1 p.m. chapel.org/register.

Re:Discover Baptism: Grayslake Campus: Come for a more intimate time of worship, baptisms, and share communion with us at Re:Discover on Sunday, May 20 at 6 p.m. Childcare will be available through first grade.

Summer Baptism at the Grayslake Campus Lake: On Sunday, June 24 at 1 p.m., the Grayslake Campus will have baptism at the lake. Spend a fun day together as a family on Saturday, May 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. including a grilled-out lunch.

Camp Timber-lee Overnight Camp

Spend a week this summer with Mr. Dan, Children’s Pastor of The Chapel, or Mr. Chris, Children’s Director of the Lake Zurich campus! Dan and Chris will once again be the featured speakers at Camp Timber-lee in East Troy, Wisconsin. SpringHill Day Camp

SpringHill Day Camp is five full days of summer camp fun right in here at The Chapel! This will be one week out of the summer your kids will never forget. Christian Youth Theater Drama Camp

CYT Musical Theater Summer Camp is one of the most affordable quality musical theatre camps in Illinois. Campers are placed on teams then rotate with their team to a variety of theater classes including dance, drama and voice taught by qualified instructors. After lunch, summer campers play exciting outdoor games before they come together with all the teams for showcase rehearsal. All campers perform in the musical theater showcase at the end of the week, featuring a variety of songs, dances and drama. Our junior campers enjoy a fast paced, condensed structure to keep them engaged while learning theater basics.
