Beginning Feb. 26, a marriage enrichment course featuring live teaching will be offered at the Grayslake campus. Live teachers include Chapel leaders Rick Egbert, Pastor of Campuses; Tammy Chapman; Juli Chaffee; and others.

This six-weeks series will include topics such as:

For Men Only; For Women Only (discussion of spiritual leadership for men and biblical submission for women)

The Impact of Our Upbringing on Our Marriage Relationship

There is a registration fee of $5, and childcare is available for $10 per child for the entire six weeks.

Single Moms Group

It’s just about the toughest job in the world – being a single parent. Come to this group and share your burdens, make new friends, and begin to heal. This session’s study will focus on alleviating the anxiety and worry associated with single motherhood.

Jail/Prison Support Group
Mondays, Feb. 6 – March 12

Designed to support men and women who have an incarcerated loved one, this 6- week session will focus on healing from the pain of this challenge by relinquishing control and relying on God to transform our heartache into joy. This interactive DVD curriculum is based on the book When I Lay My Isaac Down.

Life’s Healing Choices

Join us for this 8-week study of The Beatitudes, each a blueprint for healing and transformation from life’s pain. Relational hurts, destructive habits, or emotional hang-ups that interfere with your walk with Christ can be addressed and healing can begin in this group. Addictions, past or current emotional/physical abuse, codependency, overeating, financial issues, and past emotional issues are just a few of the obstacles you can find freedom from. Celebrate Recovery is a support group ministry in which the goal is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the “Eight Recovery Principles.” By sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving the problems that dominate our lives. We can obtain freedom from addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. As you progress through the program, you will discover the only true personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power: Jesus Christ. No registration is required.

Run with Team Oasis

Are you a runner? Thought about running? Know a runner? Then, run for a cause! There are 2.5 million orphans in Kenya who are in need of rescue, love, care, and education.

Join Team Oasis for either the Chicago Half Marathon (Sunday, Sept. 9) or the Bank of America Chicago Marathon (Sunday, Oct. 7) as a group of runners raise money to expand the number of orphanages in Kenya.

New Women’s Studies at the Lake Zurich Campus

So, how exactly does Jonah’s journey relate to yours?

As we look back on the big picture of life, it’s easy to see how God worked things together for good. But wouldn’t it be great if we could embrace the challenging times instead of running from them, like Jonah did?

If you want to learn how to change your perspective when interruptions happen, join us for Priscilla Shirer’s study Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted.

See God at work in the moment. During this seven week study, your time in small group will include time to share your thoughts and questions, discuss what you are learning, and pray with each other. Weekly homework is comprised of five daily devotional readings with corresponding reflection questions and response suggestions. Study guides will be distributed at the first session.

In order to best serve you, we want to ensure that we provide each woman with a trained small group leader for the study. Please register early and help us be as prepared as we can for you.

Kids Club will be available for a.m. session only at a cost of $28. Registration must be completed and payment submitted by Jan. 23 to secure a spot for your child. For safety reasons as well as space limitations, Kids Club walk-ins the day of the study cannot be accommodated.
