General Instructions

Open your next* Pak. The first thing you will notice is the unfamiliar name, Monvee. Monvee is the company that produces next* for The Chapel. There are four items in your next* Pak. We recommend you enjoy each of them at your leisure, but below are directions to begin the assessment.

  1. Open the “Start Here” booklet.

  2. Go to Step 3, “Activate.” (You must have an e-mail address to start next*.)

  3. When you go to beta.monvee.com the screen should say, “Welcome to monvee, to start your monvee journey, select one of the options below.” Select the center book cover with the large, green M in the middle.

  4. When you register you will need two codes. The first is on a red card in the booklet entitled, “Visual Experience.” The second is our Chapel church code, which is printed on the label on the next* Pak. (If you are using a PC, next* works with the latest version of Windows Explorer. Macintosh computers require Safari or Firefox.)

  5. Once you are registered, go on to Step 4, “Use.”

  6. You are ready to start the assessment. It only takes 10-15 minutes. Below are a few tips for making the assessment go smoothly.

Assessment Tips

  1. The information you enter and the growth plan are strictly confidential. No one can see them but you.

  2. On each screen, make the choice or choices that best describes you. There are no right and wrong answers.

  3. Help is available for each page. From the “Help” icon, you can also access the FAQ sheet for the overall program.  It is full of useful information.

  4. The first screen after the video allows you to choose two pictures. All other pictorial screens only allow one choice.

  5. Make your choices carefully. Once you have entered them, you cannot go back unless you exit and start completely over.

  6. There are a number of graphs that include options along a horizontal line as well as a vertical line. Decide each choice separately, then pick up the pin by clicking on it with your mouse, move it to the correct location, and release your mouse. You will find that the pin can be moved anywhere on the graph, allowing you to fine tune your answer.

  7. When you have finished the assessment, the program will generate a Discovery Summary for you. A link to the Discovery Summary will be sent to your e-mail address.

  8. When you follow the link to your Discovery Summary, you can download and save a copy to your computer. You can also begin creating a spiritual growth plan. This is called the Roadmap.

Roadmap Tips

  1. Choose a name and time span for your plan on the “Welcome to the Roadmap Creator” screen. We recommend you start with a one- month plan.

  2. You will be presented with resource options to build your plan. There will be ten resources in each of the following areas: My Mind, My Time, My Relationships, and My Experiences. Look at the choices and prayerfully choose one from each area. Make your choices challenging but attainable.

  3. My Time and My Mind have schedule helpers to choose the time you want to allocate to each area. Move the cursor over any of the daily numbers to move the allocated time up or down to fit your schedule.

  4. Most resource options in My Relationships and My Experiences have contact information in the description to allow you to learn more and take the next* steps in these areas.

  5. While working through building your Roadmap, you can move back to change a previous selection. Click the green down arrow to the right of the screen.

  6. After you have made your selections, you have the chance to edit them on the, “Review Your Roadmap,” screen. After finishing your review, click, “Submit.”

  7. As you begin to use your plan, you can follow your progress by using the Dashboard. Click on “Update My Status” adjust each area of your plan as you progress. The Dashboard is a feature that allows you to track your progress. If you find it useful by all means take advantage of the ability to fine-tune your growth experience. If you find it cumbersome, just another thing to check, then take note of its general guidelines (what to read, where to serve, etc.) and do those things at your own pace. It is merely a tool, not a taskmaster. The goal is spiritual growth.

  8. Congratulations! You have built a personalized roadmap and taken a major step toward growing in your relationship with God.
