Bridge for Hope Scarves Update

Many of you supported The Empowering Women Program last weekend by purchasing scarves in the lobbies. This program establishes sewing centers in India that offer a six-month course on sewing and embroidery, equip women to establish their own business, and give them an opportunity to hear the Gospel. Because of the purchases made last weekend, sewing machines will be provided for 90 women after they graduate from the program — a gift that truly represents a new business and life for these women. Also, the Empowering Women Program will now be able to open a sixth sewing center in Bihar, India.

We sold nearly all of the scarves that were available for sale last weekend, but the supply has just been replenished! Scarves will be on sale again in the lobbies this weekend for $25.
