Events

Care Nights:  Join us for this dynamic and interactive support group setting. Divorce Care, GriefShare, and Single Mom’s Group will meet on Mondays, from 7 to 9 p.m., beginning Feb. 6 through May 7 at the Grayslake campus. Celebrate Recovery meets on an ongoing basis on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Mundelein campus. Also, the Jail/Prison Support group will meet on Mondays, Feb. 6 - March 12, 7-9 p.m. at the Grayslake Campus. Please register online at chapel.org/register. Childcare is available for a small fee. Employment Ministry: Designed for the unemployed and underemployed, this ministry offers practical tips, resources, expert speakers and networking opportunities in order to give you an edge in today’s job market. We will meet on Mondays, beginning Feb. 6 through May 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Libertyville campus. Please register online at chapel.org/register. Saving your Marriage Before It Starts: Are you planning on getting married, engaged, or newly married? Are you planning to remarry? If you fall into any of these categories, please join us in an interactive pre-marital small group experience as we explore Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott’s books and discuss a variety of topics. We will meet on Fridays from 7:30 - 9 p.m. at The Chapel's Libertyville Campus.  For couples who have been previously married we will meet from Jan. 27 - March 24.  For couples who have never been married we will meet from Feb. 10 - March 24. Zone Winter Retreat: Don't forget to have your students join us as we dive into being adopted into Christ’s family. We have a long list of fun activities as well as great worship, teachings, and small group times where students will get to build deeper friendships with other students and find life application from God’s Word. Pre-registration was required.  On Friday, Feb. 10 you should drop off your child at Camp Hickory at 6:30 p.m. Pick Up is on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 1 p.m.

Treasured - McHenry Women's Retreat: Join women from the McHenry campus for a one-day women’s retreat held at The Fellowship of Faith Church, 4120 Mason Hill Rd, McHenry, 60050. The cost is $25. The retreat will start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 11.

Re:Discover at the Grayslake Campus: Come for a more intimate time of worship, and share communion with us at Re:Discover on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m.

Marriage Enrichment: This six-week series will include live teaching on topics such as spiritual leadership/biblical submission, sexual intimacy, and hope during tough times. It will be held Sundays beginning Feb. 26 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Grayslake campus. There is a registration fee of $5, and childcare is available for $10 per child for the entire six weeks. Save the Date for Family Movie Night at the McHenry Campus: The McHenry campus is hosting a movie night on Sunday, March 4 at 6 p.m. Bring the whole family to McHenry West High School. We’ll be watching “The Chronicles of Narnia”. It’s FREE so invite your friends and neighbors to join us.
