What’s Important?

Everything we do in The Chapel’s Student Ministries is focused around our vision: to guide students into an explosive relationship with Jesus Christ, one that transforms them and rocks the world.

What’s important to The Chapel’s Student Ministries?

Chido:
This Mexican-Spanish word encompasses both fun and cool, and it’s what we strive for in Student Ministries. We work to make everything we do so chido that students want to come back again and again.

Inspired teaching:
Our Bible teaching times are inspired by God and, therefore, inspiring to students. We speak God’s Word in students’ language and use examples and stories they can relate to in their everyday lives.

Give, grow, go:
Today’s students learn by experience, so we give students experiences that enable them to grow and then go out into the world with God.

Reaching:
We provide cool opportunities for students to invite friends who do not know Jesus. Our goal is for them to see how much fun being a Christian can be so that they can’t help but want to know more!

No pain added:
Students live in a real world with real pain; our ministry should not add any. We strive to provide a place where students can be themselves, share their struggles, and not worry about being hurt — a place where they find friendship, forgiveness, and freedom from their pain.

Stellar staff:
Youth will show up because of a fun program, but they will stay forever in the Kingdom of God because of great relationships. We make sure our staff and volunteers are spiritually solid leaders who connect with students.

Relational:
God uses people to impact people. We work to surround our students with powerful, healthy, and influential relationships that God uses to transform their lives.
